Bromoil

Bromoil Printing Process
referred to today to be an “alternative photographic printing process”. Its origins date back to the Pictorialist photographic “art” movement, from mid 1800’s in Europe. The early proponents were frustrated by the “mechanical” nature of “modern” photography of the day, and looked somewhat wistfully toward the fine art and painting aesthetic, in an effort to gain “legitimacy” as a true art form in its own right. It is a painterly process, one of the most organic of all photographic printing processes. Whilst technically a photographic process, its influences looks toward painting and printmaking art forms.

Each image is individually crafted using various chemical baths and lithographic inks. Texture and granularity are its trade-mark appearance.

Build modern sites with Atomic Blocks layouts

The Gutenberg editor uses blocks to create all types of content, replacing a half-dozen ways of customizing WordPress, bringing it in line with modern coding standards, and aligning with open web initiatives. When we refer to “blocks” we are talking anything that can be inserted into the editor to create content.
